Our Treatments

Manipulative therapy has been part of our profession since 1981. Professionals who attain this post graduate qualification learn advanced skills in pain management, diagnosis and clinical reasoning.

At Pittwater Manipulative and Sports Injury Centre, we use a wide range of hands-on treatments including mobilisation which involves gently moving the joints, manipulation, stretches, massage and specific exercise regimes.

Manipulative physiotherapists, (now known as musculoskeletal), are trained to know when and where to use manipulation and are skilled in applying those techniques safely and effectively. If there are any indications of risk to a client, the physiotherapist will seek alternative methods.
